text/gallery curates collaborative projects inspired by the printed and written word. we are interested in the space between text and the visual arts: using typography, languages, libraries and archives as a catalyst for creative practice. Please check back for a new project series beginning in 2010.

Typeface "Converge" designed
by Andreas Pohancenik
Words Converge is a typographic installation featuring fragments of texts
by young poets floating on spherical weather balloons – perfect forms
which, though fragile, can reach the very limits of the sky.
Digital artwork acts as a virtual library of texts from Greece,
Georgia, Israel, Romania and the UK, exploring the
elemental and transitory nature of poetry.
